Played Football and Baseball for Vicksburg High School.

Served in the United states Military During the Korean Conflict 1952-1955.

Employed by Vicksburg Community Schools for 37 Years.

Contributed Dedicated Service to VHS Athletic Department for 25 Years. This Included Transportation of Athletes, Score Keeping, Umpire, Even Set Up, Meet Manger for Districts and Regional and Special Events.

His smile, friendly conversation with the fans and encouragement of the players made a  positive impact while selling tickets to thousands of people attending Vicksburg athletic contests."

RETIRED AS HEAD CUSTODIAN FROM VICKSBURG COMMUNITY SCHOOLS IN 2008.
